Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is best known to Canadians due to her work as a Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. In addition, she was a part of in Venevision television series Cosita linda e Voltea and a'que te enamores. Her other talents include being a successful model and dancer. A Montreal native, she grew in Texas and was always interested in dancing. From a young age she's been studied a variety of dance styles. At the age 15 she took part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after she made her debut in 2008 as an contestant on Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty competition. In an episode of Telemundo's TV show, Telenovela Aurora, she played the role of a receptionist. Toubia was in the 2015 action thriller Tattooed Love, her debut film.
