Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992, in the country of India is a movie actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with some appearances in Malayalam. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actress for children. Then, following a course in fashion design, she re-entered acting. The year 2013 was the last time she played the lead in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well at the box office. The director was A. L. Vijay along alongside Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do much, but it was released. The busy schedule she had throughout the year led her choose to stay out of movies that she was developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to accommodate bigger projects. This meant that she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. It was delayed in 2015, and there are reports that the film will release after September 2020, under the name Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), with Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
