Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer from Newark, New Jersey on the 9th of August 1963. Whitney's mother and her began singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist of Newark at the age of 15 years old. The two sang backing vocals in Chaka Khans 1978 track Im Every Woman. While the film wasn't well-received and neither was her performance, the soundtrack to her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You hit the top of both singles and albums charts in the United States for a period of time. She sold 44,000,000 copies. Her daughter Bobbi was born in the month of March in 1993. This was the year following her wedding to Bobby Brown. Around this time that her widely documented substance abuse began. By 1996, she was a regular drug user.

Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American reporter anchorwoman as well as political correspondent for CNN.
