Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the well-known professional brand name of Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was born in Winona Minnesota. It was her parents in honor of the town in which they were born. Her father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder made the move together with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. The family resided in an area without electricity. Ryder began to be a passionate read because they had no TV. In 1983, when she was 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take classes in acting. After she reached the age of 15 Ryder landed a role in Lucas the first of her major film. Ryder was bullied in high school. Her hope was that the acting profession would improve that. However, unfortunately, it did not work out. Her dream was pursued. Her big break came in 1988 through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder had a successful role in numerous films. In 1993 she was nominated two times at the Academy Awards. One of them for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence.
